Your privacy, in plain words
StillFathering collects as little as possible, never sells or shares what you give us, and deletes it on a fixed schedule. Only the site's founder can read what you send.
The free tools
The parenting-time calculator, the legal budget tool and the visit and incident log run entirely in your browser. What you type there is never sent to us. Your records are saved in the browser you used, so anyone who can use that device and browser can see them. Clearing your browser data erases them, so export them regularly.
Story submissions
- What we collect: your first name or alias, your state, the topic, your story, and an email address only if you choose to give one.
- Why: to review your story and, if you agree, publish an edited version with your first name and state.
- Who sees it: only the founder, through a private review page.
- How long we keep it: your original submission and email are deleted 90 days after we publish or decline it. A published story stays up until you ask us to remove it.
Mentorship sign-ups
- What we collect: your first name, email, state, whether you want to mentor or be mentored, and an optional note.
- Why: to introduce you to a good match by email. We share your name and email only with the person we introduce you to, and only after telling you.
- How long we keep it: until you're matched or withdraw, then 90 days.
Services that help run the site
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores submissions in a private database.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was sent by a person, not a bot. It does not use tracking cookies.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces, so your browser contacts Google to load them.
We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete a submission, remove a published story, or take you off the mentorship list at any time. Email notalone@stillfathering.com with the first name and state you used.
Age
Submissions and mentorship are for adults 18 and older.
If you are in crisis, please call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741. We are not able to respond to emergencies.
